Dear all,

i suffer with cu (diagnosed 3 months ago) and from the investigating that I have done it seems that people seem to have relief from a drug called 'hydroxyzine'. However I hear reports that this drug makes you feel like a zombie and makes you tired 24/7.

I'm at the point now, where by I would rather be tired all day than have to endure the agony and embarresment of a breakout of cu.

I have tried everything and I think my derm is about to put me onto this drug I wonder if anybody has tried hydroxyzine and are side-effects truly worse than actually putting up with cu?

Any feedback would be apprechiated

Hydroxyzine
I have had cu for 4 years and hydroxyzine worked initially, but it does make me feel like a zombie. I would not recommend this unless absolutely necessary. Every allergist and derm I have been to will prescribe this first and insist it is the best option. I am sure you have read the other forum on this "i most likely have cu". There are many other options to try on this forum. Good luck!

re:Sean3000
Im taking hydroxyzine 10mg. 3 x a day. Its not that bad as far as been tired and sleepy all the time. It does seem to help some with CU. I still heat up but dont breakout as bad.
