Hi, does anyone or has anyone ever heard of a lung cancer patient having their plura removed and their lung hosed or packed down with chemo to encase the tumor? Our oncologist has told us only 10 people in the usa have had this done, its experimental. They do this procedure when the plura has plural effusion that they cannot control. This is a last resort for a cancer patient that has this problem. I am trying to research this and need any help from anyone that may know of a website or the name of this procedure.
