Hello. I am planning to start to take birth control pills(allesse) next month. However, right now my period is due on sunday.I am going to mexico for a week on sunday. If I start the birth control pills today, do you think that my period will come anyways?
I would love to have a real vacation and I know how impossible that would be with my strong periods and cramps!
I would greatly appreciate any help especially that these tickets have been purchased since january!!1

If you start your pill any other time than your period you need 7 full days for it to become effective... You may have some spotting for the forst 2-3 months yes! It may be heavy... But many women do fine!
