About 8 or 9 months ago I was referred to an ear, nose and throat doctor because I was having problems with my tonsils. The doctor put a small camera up my nose to get a look at the back of my tonsils. He mentioned that I had a deviated septum and that it was probably something I was born with. I have always noticed that it is significantly easier to breathe out of one side of my nose than the other. Before the doctor had mentioned it, I had never thought twice about it. Recently, I have started yoga and have found it very difficult to continuously breathe out of my nose, especially when I am breathing hard after exertion. I am wondering how common this is and if someone has had this and had it corrected. I have begun to think about having it corrected myself and was curious if someone else has gone through it.
