Am I Dyslexic?
Posted: 05-23-06 05:00am

Whenever I read aloud, I don't understant a single thing!

And when I read in my head, most of the time I have to re-read about 3 times before I get the general meaning of it.

Also, my writting has scribbles everywhere because I make mistakes and I re-write. My writing is very messy and all my letters aren't even.

Although... I can read quite fast (but can't understand fully on the first try). Could it still be dyslexia?

how is your spelling you said that your writing was a mess, but do you put letters the wrong way round or just have times where you cant spell the simplist words.

im dyslexic and my writing is neat its just that other than me no one can make out what it says. my reading use to be awful too until i went to a school on mornings which just deals with children with dyslexia and it really helped me i attened my normal school in the afternoons. im still slow at reading, id say with me its not that i dont understand whats going on in the book i can follow a story but i come too words that i just cant work out what there ment to say.
when i was 9 i had test to find out if i was dyslexic which since then i havent looked back i was lucky not everyone starts to get help that early and evern though i still struggle with my spelling and reading i will not let it stop me doing what i want im going to start my nursing training soon.
