Armpit Lumps Still There. ^^
Yep.
I posted a thing ages ago saying I had a lump.
Well I went docs and he said it was a ingrown hair. Its been months now.

Still there, but doesn't really hurt that much.
Isn't growing tbh.
I don't know whether I should go backk to the docters.
I've seen theese posts about infections.
Its much bigger than pea size .
Is it an infection?

Me Too
I'm fifteen and I recently found a small (smaller than a pea) lump in my left armpit...At first it hought it was just a massive pimple because when I squeezed it, pus came out. I hve left it alone for a while now (maybe a few weeks?) and its still there. I've done some research and found a lot of stuff about breast/cancer and i'm worried like crazy. Does anybody have any accurate answers? Note that this lump does not hurt (a sign for breast cancer?!?), and I haven't found any lumps around/on my breasts.

I think i'l lbe visitng the doctor soon, but I don't want to if it isn't as bad as I think it is.

Lymph Node Lumps
I am 27 and I have 3 lumps in my lymph nodes; 2 on my right side and one on my left side. I am also having breast pain along with the lumps. I have been to the doctor and they say I don't have an infection or hair problem. I am waiting to go see another doctor about the lumps and breast pain. Just wanted to see if anyone is having this problem too. Thanks.

Uhm..
I'm a Guy and I have a lump under my right armpit.. at first I thought it was a spot or something like that and ignored it. It's been there for about a week now and I was lying in bed then tryin 2 sleep when I put my hand there sleepily and realized it wasn't a spot.. It was under the skin. I got very scared and looked in the mirror for a head but couldn't find one, so I have been looking relentlessly through the web for something on these symptoms and found this, closest I could find. Anything to help me sleep easy? I will tell my parents in the morning about it and see what they think.. thanks in advance.

bad bump, bad
I'm 24 and about 2 wks ago I noticed a small bump under my left armpit. I didn't think too much of it at first. Just thought it was a hair bump from shaving. Over the last week it's gotten increasingly bigger and painful to the point where raising or lowering my left hurts kinda bad. I can't sleep on my left side at all b/c the pain is so bad. I emailed my doc this morning and now I get the pleasure of waiting for a response. My mom had a bump like this before and hers was just a cyst. I'm hoping for a repeat in history here. I had a breast exam 2wks ago as well and my doc didn't find anything so I don't think it's cancer, but it's till kinda scary. I'll update you guys when I find out something.

Quick word of advice, especially to the young girls: if you've had your lump for a while (longer than 2 weeks) and you're still worried about it, tell a parent (which ever you're most comfortable with) and make a dr appt. It'll just stress you out way more if you are keeping it to yourself. It's better to be stressed and find out it's nothing than to be stressed, do nothing and find out it's serious. Hoping all your lumps and bumps go away.

lump under armpit
I too had a lump, felt like the size of a pea, I was 13, I waited to tell anyone. At 14 I went to the Dr., back then things were different than now, 1974..I was sent to a surgeon and they removed it, It was benign..no cancer, but it was the size of a golf ball the Dr. told me, that amazed me as I felt such a small area. I hope you have got checked or will soon, only a Dr., can tell you for sure

Last Friday I discovered a lump under my right armpit. It is still here now, it is not very painful but when touched or pressed it feels quite tender, I suppose very slightly painful. Its kind of red around the area. The lump is about the size of a pea. I've been worried about it being cancer, I'm a 20 year old guy. I've been having tight chest pains now and again too, not too painful, could this be due to my anxiety? I've booked an appointment at the doctors for this friday but would like some advice.

Cheers.

15 y.o- armpit lump
I am 15 years old and 2 nights ago i went to bed and i had a really sore arm and it was my arm pit.. i went to sleep and didnt think enything of it. Yesterday i got changed into my school uniform n i felt my armpit and one part was very sore and felt like a small lump, smaller than the size of a pea. i told my mum and she said if it isnt away by the end of the week she will get it checked out.. I am on the pill but my mum doesnt know.. so i am worried that maybe this lump is some sort of side effect of the pill and if i go to the doctors with my mum the doctor might ask if i am on the pill.. i can't say that i am on it becoz i dont want my mum to know!!

lump in armpit
I've been through a lot of health issues at my age (and can maybe give some advice to those of you with conditions I've experienced)
I'm a breast cancer survivor, fourteen years now, and I remember one of the very first symptoms that I ever noticed (in fact, I wasn't even sure it was there, but now of course I am) was a raisin-sized lump in my left armpit. It was somewhat tender (though not exceptionally so). The next thing I noticed-I never actually felt the breast lump itself, but there was some slight retraction of the skin of the breast if and only if I raised my arms over my head while looking in the mirror. No matter what they say about breast self exams these days I believe it pays to be observant. I had my first mammogram when I discovered these things and the cancer was plain as day. When they did surgery, they found one positive lymph node. Two other members of my family died from this. I am here, alive and well.

yeah. I have the same symptoms. God! putting my clothes on this morning was a chore because of it. However, for me...it got this way in the span of 4 days and it is steadily getting worse. -.-;; Going to the doctors either today or tmrw to get it checked out.

err..
I'd just like to say that for those of you scared to visit the doctor for this, really shouldn't be. It would be better to "bite this in the bud" so to speak, by actually getting it looked at. What I mean is, if it is something serious, it is better to get a professionals opinion and get help. I'm sorry if I sound rude, but it really isn't the end of the world even if it is bad. And it is better to MAKE SURE that you're fine rather than trust an anonymous person's opinion on the matter.

(yes, I know I'm here too, what a hypocrite, right? but I still think that you should all go see a doctor, even if you does turn out to be nothing. Better to know fo sho!)

Sounds like it could be an ingrown hair. It is VERY rare for a 16 year old to get breast cancer.

Armpit / Breast Lumps
I agree with Devdaron. Anyone worried should get it checked out.
I have three lumps in my left breast - the first time I found one I was petrified and constantly poking it and obsessing over it so in the end I went to the Dr who referred me to a clinic in Paddington. I went (petrified again!) and had it looked at, they said it was just normal breast tissue (and also it's less likely to be cancer if you have no history of breast cancer in family and if lump hurts as cancer tends to be painless but not always)
Anyway I went back with the second lump and same result - the woman in the clinic even said "Back again?" as if I went there for fun! This really puts me off going to get my 3rd one looked at (this one is new and under my armpit rather than breast) but I am starting to obsess over this one too so I am going to take a deep breath and go back. I think when it comes to your health and sanity you should never feel silly, it really is better to be safe than sorry and find things out early on. Go to the Dr, that's what we pay NHS for! Good luck everyone.

Ive got my mammaogram this Wednesday. Also waiting to see lung doctor as i had a ct scan due to kidney stone as the doctors wanted to find out how much damage my kidney has. Kidney doctor told me there is something on my lung but couldnt say what it is, have to wait too see lung doctor. I know i shouldnt worry but i cant help it,keeps creeping in my mind.
