Q: What can cause numbness, dry mouth, weakness, pain in arms,
asked by: DoctorQuestion on May 22nd, 2006
I have numbness, dry mouth, weakness, pain in arms, dizziness, and blurry vision in left eye. This all started about 4 months ago. Went to the hospital and dr said it was anxiety. Im still having the problems and i cant work and i only can drink locally and sometimes not even that. I dont know what is going on. I ve never had these issues before. The dr ran a blood test urine test and x ray and all was normal results. Please can u give advice as to what could be wrong. It started with all over numbness and now it comes and goes but im suffering.

Anxiety & Stress Answer A999
You can visit an ophthalmologist to check your eye(s). The syptoms you describe can be caused by anxiety: all other test results were negative. According to your data, the only thing that I notice is that you are too overweight. I recommend you to start with a diet of fresh, organic foods and more physical activity to lose weight. You can consult you GP, a nutritionist, certified personal trainer, or a dietician to help you phase into a healthier lifestyle.
