On Going Stomach Pains Please Help
Posted: 05-22-06 04:49am

Hiya!

I have been having on-going stomach problems on the left side for about a year now.

I get sharp pulling pains under my left rib and shooting pains through my stomach, sometimes this pain rises to my chest on the left side. It even sometimes goes through my breast and nipple :?

Sometimes when I push down on where it hurts my stomach growls, like im releasing something,

i’ve had allsorts of test, including ecg (at first thought it was my heart) i’ve had blood tests, gastroscopy and ultrasound, all showing nothing

has any one else got similar problems? I’m starting to get annoyed now and wondering what my next step is.

I have looked at my diet and my pains have no pattern, like this morning I had a bananna and got really bad cramps.

I hope someone has some advice im going out of my mind

xx

Hi I have had some of the same problems. For the past two years I have been told everything from its an ulcer to ibs to simply gas. Well this past week I went to the er in really bad pain and a cyst had ruptured. They didn't find the ruptured cyst but the ultrasound picked up I had alot of fluid in my bladder. They tested the fluid and figured out what had happened.

Not sure if your a guy or girl, hope this has helped alittle bit though.

I had sever pain under the left side of my rib cage and my stomach would start burning like a coal of fire sometimes they put me on the bland diet at one point and kept giving me medicines but nothing seemed to work.

good luck and I hope you get to feeling better.
