Vaginal Itch
Posted: 05-21-06 22:09pm

Im 16 years old and just two days ago I woke up and had a very uncomfortable vaginal itch. I have no clue what it is. I am still a virgin, so I dont believe it could be an std since im not active. I have a slight discharge. But ive never had anything like this....

So can you tell me what it is?? Thanks,

You might want to post this in the women's sexual health forum.
This is a forum about pregnancy.
Use some vagisil or something.

You are probably not pregnant anyway.
It's probably a yeast infection. Or, an allergy if you've changed laundry powder or soap recently.

Ask th pharmasist for some cream or something, or if you are too embarrased, see if applying some natural yogurt helps.

Seriously, that's what I was thinking. A yeast infection. But if you've never had one before you'll want to have your doctor diagnose it to be sure just in case it's some type of allergic reaction. You can get some anti-itch vaginal cream to help with the discomfort in the meantime. Although be careful, you don't want to use it when you are actually going to the doctors because it can mask symptoms.

And try to eat some yogurt everyday...Helps to keep from getting a yeast infection.
