Hi, im 27 years old female . I had hip surgery in my left hip when I was 12 years old and hip surgery in my right hip at the age of 13. In both surgeries pins replaced in my hips , they were removed a couple of years later. My right hip remains with three broken pin as I was told. The condition I had only usually happend to males and athletic people. My mom does remember the name of the surgery I had done. Anyways for the last 2 years ive been experincing a lot of pain in my right hip. I have pain when I bend down, or move suddenly. I usually have to help lift my leg when getting in a car. Ive been limping for about a year and it seems to be getting worse. I know I need to see a doctor but I keep putting it off scard of what they might say. Any advise from anyone on whats going on with my right hip.

Hip Pain
Hi
i to have hip pain, although I have been diagnosed with cdh.(dislocation of the hip) causing the bones to now rub together as surrounding tissue has gone. The symptoms are similar tho including help to lift the leg. Damaged joints can ger some arthritis and this may be what is causing your pain. I was undiagnosed until aged 25! I always had the pain. Go to your doctor. You will prob get some anti inflamitory pills which do help (slightly). I also fins some days worse than others with the degree of pain although it is never not hurting at all! Hope this helps.
