I am 17 years old, and for the last few
years, after my weight loss of about 60lb,
I have always been getting sick. I was a
skinny kid growing up, borderline
underweight, and then I suddenly gained a
load of weight at 12 when puberty hit,
then lost it at about 13-14. When I was
growing up I only used to get sick maybe
once every 2 years if even. Now its been
progressively getting worse, after this
one time I got strep throat at 15. I used
to get sick once every 3-4 months, now its
like once every 3-4 weeks! I go to the
doctor and they test my blood and
everything is fine but my immune system
seems to be dead. However, I have to
admit my weight sometimes fluctuates from
about 130lb to 160lb, which may be putting
a strain on my body. (i am 5'9", btw)
so my question is, what can I do to make
my immune system stronger? Any
suggestions would be beneficial at this
point. Also, if I can post this in
another section to recieve more replies,
please redirect me. Thank you.

Let me get this straight..You keep getting
strep back? If so let me know thats
another discussion itself- have you been
tested for diabetes and had them run your
sugar glucose? They ever test for mono?
Other then immune function do you have
any other chronic symtoms?? (tired etc?)
anything list. Whats your family disease
history? Periods normal?? On birth
control? Sorry so many questions but
need to ask to narrow down
possiablities.
Do you eat right? Excercise? Normal
sleep patterns?
Let me know I can help you out a bit. I
have experience with this myself.
For now regardless of your problems- for
strong immunity you can go out and get
buffered vitamin c capsules to take. Get
buffered, regular vita c is acidic, you
dont want that wiht your symtoms going on
now. Natrol a company that makes it is
available at any vitamin store. Take 500
milligrams once morning, once night. This
is a good start that will not hurt you at
all but help.
