Q: No Pill Free Days

Dear all,

i am wondering how many times I can miss my pill free days?
I continued with a new pack last month as I was going on holiday and didn't want to have my period during this time. I would now be due next weekend, however, something else has come up and I was wondering whether it would be safe to continue with a new pack again or not. Will contraception be affected by this?

Grateful for all advice!
Many thanks!

You can skip as many peirod as you want, and yes your contraception is okay!

There is actually a new pill in the works that will allow women to skip their periods for an entire year!!!!!!

Thanks
Thanks for your advice.
I did ask a pharmacist and she said a 2nd time would be fine, however, I should then not skip it a 3rd time for health reasons! I guess not skipping it all would be the healthiest, however, it's nice to know that it is possible.

Many thanks!

It is perfectly healthy to skip periods, in fact on birth cotnrol you honestly do not need one!!

All a period on birth control is is a "withdrawal from hormones bleed"..The only reason why you bleed is because you stopped taking pills...

Most every pharmacy that has birth control pills should stock the new yearly pill..
I'll find a news article on it okay?

You just get an rx from your doc
