Q: Bc Pills And Medicine "ketanov". Pregnant!?!?!?

Okay I have been feeling really weird for the past few days... I'm in russia (exchange student) and I have been on orthonovum bc pills for the past...Year and a half, just about. I've never missed a pill. I have been late a couple hours and such every now and then but i'm basically always exact when I take my pill.

I had really bad back pains because I broke my back 4 years ago and it's always bad, so my boyfriend said to try this pain pill called ketanov--i know it's sold in america, or other foreign countries, but he says it's a strong pain killer and they use it for after operations on people...Something like that. Anyway, so I took one a day for about 3 days, then stopped. I had sex during those days, and I let my boyfriend come inside of me, unprotected, except for the bc pills.

...So...I've been feeling weird, I have back pains and kind of like cramp pains--i sometimes get light ones, and I can't tell if these are from my period being close (i should get it at the end of may, so in about 2 weeks-ish), orrr...Something else? Also I had a fever the other day for a couple hours, been kind of strangely nauseous late at night...But that could just be something else, right?

I want to take a pregnancy test just because i'm paranoid...When is the earliest I can take a test? I've never had to take one before...And i'm in a completley foreign country. I'm totally lost.

Help? Ugh.

Pain kilers are'nt known to interact with birth control pills! So that is good news..

Fever and nausea can be from a virus, so really there is no way to know unless you took a pregnancy test.

But it would be highly unlikely you were pregnant.

A lot of antibiodics/medications have been known to make birth control pills completely ineffective.

Take a test when you miss your period, if you do.
Or some you can take up to 5 days before your period is due.

Ketanov is from ketamine which is actually a horse tranquilliser.

I'd avoid taking it without a medical prescription (yes they do use this in hospital occassionally but it is in a very controlled environment)

always read the leaflet in the painkiller (or any meds) pack - it will tell you if you shouldn't take it with b/c or if you should use extra protection.

Painkillers don't usually interact with b/c
