Q: Really Bad Dry Mouth

My mouth is really really dry just the top.... And the rest I feel like im spitting over myself.. I thought maybe it could be from metformin but i've been on it for over a month now and this is the 1st it happened I read somewhere that it could be a sign of pregnancy?? If anyone has an idea please help me out! :) thanks
