Wellbutrin Sr And Plaquenil

I had been on Plaquenil for Lupus for 13 years until I went into remission. I was off it for 5 years when I had a relapse. During the first use of Plaquenil I was also taking fluoxetine (generic Prozac) and had no problems with either of them. In the 5 year break I changed to Wellbutrin when the fluoxetine stopped working. Within 4 days of the second use of Plaquenil I experienced extreme depression, headaches and increased fibromyalgia pain. My doctor had me stop the Plaquenil immediately. Don't know why it happened yet, and I'm trying to find out; but hope my experience helped you know you're not imagining the interaction.
