Hello,

anxiety can cause more symptoms than most people realise. I often get a sore or swollen throat during most all of my high periods of anxiety, and it usually lasts untill something else crops up to take my mind off of it. Try the usual anti bacterial throat pastilles, or ones with glycerine, it acts as a lubricant and can be quite soothing.
The most important thing, and the one I find very hard, is to avoid thinking about it too much. Check back with the doc if it persists for more than a few weeks.
