No prob jill,

well at least you have a diagnosis. Fortunatly there are numerous medications that can allow you to live a normal life.

You should talk to your doctor about taking something along with the amitryptaline. One medication that I use now that has totally changed my life is duragesic, it is a transdermal fentanyl patch and it goes into your system very slowly over a 72 hour period, this allows for consistant relief from the riggors of pain! Some folks do not do really well with it because it is so powerful and their metabolism makes the medicine go into their system too fast but it has been perfect for me.

This is a long road and the only way to make it and do well is to make sure that you are taking care of yourself and keeping your pain under control and then you will be able to take care of the house, kids, husband and so forth.

Good luck,
brian

Yes that is correct. Sedement rate is an indicator of infection or inflamitory process in the body. They may also do a test called c reactive protien, another indicator for the same thing.

Alone they do not mean much but when compared to other results in the hematology they can help to determine certian conditions.
