Q: Period One Week After Discontinuing Pill

I stopped taking the pill about a week into the active pack. I was tired of the effects and just decided then and there to quit. I have been on ortho-tri-cylen/l0 for 11 years. I got my period a week later. It is heavy like when I was a teen. Is this normal?

Yes it is. Only start to worry if you have a period for more than 9 days then call your gyno.
