I wouldn't worry about it at this time. If by the time your son is 8 and there is still no sign of teeth coming down, you may want to have the dentist take an x-ray of the area.

The typical schedule for the 2 front top teeth to come in is between 5 and 7 years of age, but it isn't unusual to be earlier or later than that.

Did his two baby teeth come out on their own, or did something happen to make them come out?

The teeth came out naturally.

I wouldn't worry just yet. He may have to lose the next 2 teeth (laterals) to accomodate the size of the permanent front ones (centrals).

Remember, the permanent teeth are already "adult" size, and his arch is still small.

Give it some more time, but talking to a dentist might make you feel better.
