Can anyone tell me what they think about this problem im having. I kind of need 2nd thoughts on it.

Ok, I slipped off a step right leg stayed on the step left leg took the hike didnt completely fall but ended up doing that monkey dance to keep up right.

Anyway I said oh that hurt my ankle and then I took another step and bang did the pain set in. My back femur muscel & hip area.

Now for what im feeling: a burning in the lower buttocks, the bone in what they call the insertion point, the back of my thingh hurts. The ankle is brusied but no swelling. My hip area is a bit brusied feeling as well. Its been 2 weeks and I can't sit right walking causes a weak feeling, going up stairs buy the time I reach the top I have to help my leg. I have shooting pain from hip to ankle when I sit that insertion point hurts and the area around the lower hip part (hip and femur meet) hurts. It use to hurt real bad to caugh, but thats died down a good bit but still there.

Any thoughts out there on what the problem maybe?

I agree - you need xrays done to see what damage has been done. The longer you put off medical intervention, the more damage you may be doing to the injured area.

It doesn't sound like you broke a bone but you did hurt something. You need to get help.
