I have horrible anxiety, and no matter how much I know I shouldn't worry, I still do... It's like I can't control it.

My boyfriend and I have sex... And are always very careful....
I am on the pill and have been for 2 months now.
We use condoms each time as well......

Yet I still worry of becoming pregnant... I shouldn't worry, should i? Are there any chances.... Ways something could go wrong? I guess I just need someone to tell me no! So I can put my head to rest lol i'm crazy... I make myself sick, litterally... :(

thank you to whoever replies!!!

Relax, your risk of getting pregnant while using a condom and birth control pills is almost non-existent. Meaning: if used correctly (condom worn the whole time and bcp taken at same time every day) you are .N.O.T at risk of getting pregnant.

oh gosh.. Honestly dont feel stupid.. Even though I feel stupid at times too, I know we shouldn't.... But trust me, I understand exactly how you feel... It's nice to know theres someone who has the same thinking as me.. But not nice at the same time, because I know how brutal it can be .... Driving yourself crazy over nothing...

I guess its because this is all pretty new to me... In 19... And this is my first serious relationship and my first time being sexual with someone... So I guess i'm just extremly paranoid. I thought after going on the pill.. It would end my worries, but my mind is just a worry machine. Lol

blah... Well hun just try very hard not to worry as much... Even though I know how hard it is... Just try, that's what i'm going to do... I guess lol

take care

I am the same way as you. My girlfriend is on the shot and I make her take p tests for my sanity (cause she doesnt get a period). She thinks its a waste of money.. But I would gladly pay 10 bucks to not be going crazy thinking the bc isnt working. Lately I am getting more comfortable with it, but shes been on it for like 15 months and is now switching to the patch. So now its time to start using condoms again till I get used to the other stuff. I think the best way to not be paranoid is to just force yourself to know it works. As long as you are using both forms correctly, your ok.

ohh I know... Trust me, I totally agree with you, it's 100 times better for your sanity to take tests every so often, trust me, I understand.. I'm the same way.

iam also 19 and this is my forst serious relationship and also my first sexual experiences with someone. Its a crazy feeling I know.. And I think its also because we are so careful.. And because it is the worst thing that could hapeen to us (we're both off to an amazing university in sept) it makes you worry about it happening and ruining stuff.... Its not the babys fault.... I know... Its just that I can barely be responsible for myself.... So I worry its gonna happen.... Esp with the pill... Ovualating not ovulating... Messes with your head. X x x x x
