I was bitten by 2 dog ticks --one in my hair at the back of my hair line-the other[on the back of my neck] appearantly bit me twice or there were two ticks and I only nabed one. There is a large lump at the bite site in my hair and two large lumps on my neck at the other bite site. I can find no information on this . I spoke with a nurse. She said she had not heard of this happening with a dog tick bite and the tick may have been infected. I am looking for information telling me what symptons, if any, I should look for and in what time frame. Also please--information on an infected tick would be welcome.
