June 2005 I had a left salpingo oopherectomy. The surgeon used gelfoam on the site where the ovary had attached itself to my abdominal wall. I had a fever in the hospital. It was ignored. I have had extreme chronic colon pain on the left side ever since the surgery.
Questions - 1. Does gelfoam show up on ct scans and x-rays?
2. How do I get a doctor to determine if the misuse of the gelfoam is causing my problems?
