Hi guys as most of you know im in my 6th week of pregnancy (as from today actually)and yesterday I started coming down with what I think is the begginings of a cold (hope its nothing worse)i have heard that this (wierdly)is a good sign as it proves the baby has "stolen"your imune system,is this right????I have a saw throat and that nasty niggling feeling at the back of my nose, thought at first it was hay fever (but never have suffered with that before)but now I deffinetly think its a cold on its way. Please give me some advice as im scared to miscarry again,is it a good sign or not????Thanks, jadexxxx

It;s normal to get sick when your preg and also when your pregnant it's a lot worss.I wouldn't freak out, just go to your doctor and see if he can perscribe you anything to make you feel a little better

Girl...I never got sick before I got preggy. The second I got pregnant, I came down with a chest cold. Then 2 months later, another one. Another 3 months down the road, another one!!!! It totally sucked. I figured if I was taking vitamins, I would be less likely to be sick more than once...Shlllttt...I was wrong.

I've never thought of it as my baby taking over my immune system...I guess she did!!
