i feel that i am not a stable or normal
person, i can't be happy for a whole one
day, i have an un natural fear from my
parents since i was a child, finally today
i encourage my self and told my mother
that i need to go to a DR to cure me from
depression, she shouted at me saying that
i am truly crazy and un nomral and i
really need to go to a DR for cureness.. i
am not crazy, i am just depressed and i
believe that this is an illness which
needs to be cured.. i really wish to
consult a DR because i believe that he
will listen to me, take me away from my
home for few days and finally cure me

YES! You are absolutely right! There is
nothing wrong with revealing
psycho-emotional problems to a doctor of
medicine. You can even ask for expert help
from a mental health professional.
Depression is a medical state of dis-ease
and is a condition that can be treated. I
must warn you that depression can’t be
cured in a few days but even a simple
conversation with a doctor might be very
helpful. Creating a positive relationship
with your parents is also very important,
but might not be possible given the nature
of your mother's response to your request.
Nonetheless, you are responsible for your
own health and can learn to follow your
intuition, relying less and less on your
parents for direction. You can begin to
cultivate an INNER guide. If your parents
cannot support you during treatment, they
might not be capable of empathy.
Therefore, you need to learn to help
yourself. And realize...you are not
alone!
