Hey, I am a senior in highschool and last spring I got mono and was out of school for several weeks. I finally felt well enough to get back to school to take my exams. It's been a year now and I still am so tired sometimes that I will come home from school, go right to sleep, wake up at 12 - maybe get a drink, then go back to sleep until the next morning. When will these mono symptoms end, and how can I help to make them go away? My doctor doesn't offer any help by saying that my problem is that I sleep too much. These symptoms have been apparent since I was diagnosed with mononucleosis. If anyone can let me know how I can make them go away I would greatly appreciate it, especially since i'm going to be in college in the fall and I would really like to not sleep all day and miss all my classes. Oh yea, and coffee doesn't help.
