Hello all,
I am a 21 year old nursing student from syracuse, ny and
i have been rummaging through these forums since before I had my gallbladder removed 2wks ago. Now that it is out I have some questions. First of all, i've read many of your posts saying to avoid fatty foods etc etc...I have noticed I cannot eat what I used to, portion wise or food wise, without feeling like crap the following day. I will feel like I am constipated and bloated the day following a large meal, or a meal I may have normally eaten before my surgery. I don't have a lot of time or money to make to keep up these trials on what I can and can't eat. I guess i'm wondering what I can expect with my bowels and what I can expect to eat if I want to feel normal.
My other concern is...I feel my belly is a bit larger than before. I am not a skinny girl, but it's really annoying to me to feel rounder around the middle, especially since I have lost close to 10lbs since the surgery. This is another thing i'm semi-relating to the bloating feeling and what I am eating; i'm wondering if my belly seems bigger because of the bloating, or if it really is fatter.
If anyone can relate or has any words of wisdom, please, leave me a post.
Thanks a lot!
Krista
