I used one of the "top rated" colon
cleansers (colonix) and saw little or no
results afterward. I followed the
directions and completed the program as
instructed. I did not feel any better
afterward and I saw none of the expected
results in my toilet. I am 52 years old
and have eaten my share of junk food over
the years. I talked to my doctor who
happens to be a surgeon. He said that no
one's colon is impacted like these colon
cleansing companies want you to believe.
When doing colonoscopies (spelling?) they
never see the type of sludge that these
companies are claiming may be lurking in
your colon. A co-worker of mine used a
different brand of cleanser and she saw no
results and no improvement to her health.
Save your money, people. You don't need
to cleanse your colon because it's not
coated with a bunch of gunk. If it were,
you would die from malnutrition. These
products contain a lot of fiber. That's
why you end up visiting the toilet more
often. All you need to do is to eat more
fiber daily. It's a lot cheaper. :?:

Colonix is a great product and I swear by
it. I have been using this product for 8
years now and it has literally saved my
life. I was a total skeptic at the
beginning but what I saw when I was in my
second month of the cleanse really scared
me. What you see on the web site of
DrNatura is some of that what came out of
me. I started the program suffering from a
long list of medical problems. When I
finished the 3 month program my list
disappeared. I also consulted with a
naturopath that helped me get on the right
eating pattern. I believe the combination
of diet and cleansing really impacted my
life for the healthier. I also found that
DrNatura's help line was fantastic and
they helped me greatly when I had any
concerns.

I have not used Oxypowder so I cannot
comment on that product. What I've heard
is just second hand. I can tell you what
has worked for me and that is Colonix. I
have been using the product for 8 years
and was initially skeptical about it.
I did experience some side effects yet
these were minimal and I knew it was my
body reacting as I was releasing the
toxins from my body. Each individual is
different and as my friends and family
have all done the cleanse not everyone
experienced the same side effects. So, my
answer would be that each individual is
different. The cleanse was effective with
all those who I've shared it with yet for
many they had minimal to no side effects.
Colonix is a gentle cleanse and has worked
beautifully for me. Let us know what you
decided to use and how it has helped you.

If you get constipated already, I would
avoid Colonix. I've taken Colonix, and it
made me horribly constipated the entire
three weeks I did it.
I bought a one month cleanse from Dr.
Natura, and followed the instructions very
carefully. But I still became constipated.
I got the usual headache for the first 5-6
days, like everyone else gets. But the
constipation never went away.
After the first week of only having one
bowel movement, and getting really bad
stomach cramps, I called Dr. Natura's
customer service. The guy I talked to told
me to drink more water, and decrease the
fiber. So during the second week, that's
what I did. It helped, I had two bowel
movements that week.
Halfway thru the 2nd week, I talked to the
same person at Dr Natura's, and they told
me to increase the time that I take the
KleriTea. So I increased the steeping time
to 5 minutes. By the end of the third
week, I had increased the steeping time to
11 minutes, but it never really did
anything.
I quit midway thru the fourth week because
I was experiencing the worst cramps. In
total I had exactly seven bowel movements
during the entire Colonix cleanse.
7 BM's in 25 days!!! Thats not good at
all.
The people at Dr. Natura were nice and
very respectful of my issues. They
refunded my money with no problems. I'm
not saying that they are a bad company,
it's just that their product didn't do
anything good for me. In fact, it did the
opposite of what it's supposed to do.
I've never tried OxyPowder, but I've heard
good things about it. Good Luck in your
quest for health. Please keep us updated
on what you try. If Oxypowder works for
you, then maybe I'll give it a shot... who
knows?

It is too bad that you had such challenges
with colonix. Personally I know a lot of
people and including myself who are taking
or have used colonix with great success.
Each individual is different and it is a
good thing that you listened to your body
to seek a solution.
Have you considered seeking the advice of
naturopath to check about the foods that
you are eating. Something that you are
eating may also be adding to your
constipation. Just a suggestion.
I hope you find the answers you are
looking for in this forum.
Good luck
