Just a Simple ? - Same As Other Forum

Here is my story...Im ttc and have been
for several months with no luck...My last
period was march 29 and I should have
started again april 26 (its pretty normal,
give or take 2-3 days) its still not
arrived. I took 2 pg test a couple of
days ago (first response) and they both
came up negative. I know that
stress...Etc... Can cause your period to
be late, im just a little confused because
im not having any symptoms of pregnancy or
my period...I usually get gas, a bump or
two on my face, bloated and my boobs
ache... Just one thing, I have clear
discharge everyday kind of like when you
ovulate...I just dont know whats going
on...Im not gonna ask the same stupid
question am I pregnant, however iam gonna
ask everyone how long and how many
pregnancy tests did everyone have to take
before they found out they were
pregnant???

My first one told me, but I was 10 weeks
along at the time. Have you thought of
getting a blood test done?

I took mine at 12 dpo and got my bfp!
Keep in mind that some woen do not produce
enough hcg to detect on a hpt. If you
still do not get your period I would
suggest going to get some bloodwork done.

Hi I got a negative response when I was
pregnant with my son and didn't get a
psitive til 6 weeks pregnant but first
response has always been accyrate for me.
Perhaps test again next week if your
period has not come or maybe arrange a
blood test with your doctor.These are
always more accurate.

No, I have not thought about getting a
blood test done, I just hate testing
because it seems like everytime I test and
get a negative result my period starts the
next day :cry: I just hate getting my
hopes up..Thanks guys for the responses
lalee -- you said that you tested when you
were 10 weeks pregnant did you have any
pregnany symptoms up until that point???

Not really... Except missed periods,
which didn't trigger much of a response
from me because i've skipped months
before. However, I haven't had any
morning sickness at all, so that's part of
it.

Maybe u should try a different brand of
hpt I used clear blue digital and I got my
positive result after a week of missed
period :)

I used first response and got a positive 3
days before my period was due. It was
faint but it was there. I got a line that
couldn't have been any darker 4 days after
my period was due.

Maybe im just skipping a month, I guess if
I dont get my period within the next 2
weeks I will need to go see my doctor...

I got a positive 4 days before mine was
due - then again everyone is different.
