Me and my girlfriend fell into the
clutches of temptation and we had sex
without a condom well we started with it
then took it off, well that was about two
weeks ago (maybe even three) and we were
talking about how that was the most
stupidest thing we could have done and
that we would never do it again until she
got the shot, well today she left me a
message and it said " this morning when I
woke up I sort of fainted and I felt like
throwing up." and shes scared that she
might have morning sickness and now shes
panicing saying what if shes pregnant and
im scared too I would feel so bad that I
did this to her and make her go through
this I love her and would never want to
put her through atleast not now we are
both not ready. Can someone please help
and anwser if she could be pregnant.
Thanks

She needs to take a test, that's all we
can really say. But don't beat yourself
up if she is, that won't help anything.
Needing to throw up doesnt' necessarily
mean she's pregnant; she might just be
getting a bug. There is a possibility,
though, and she needs to take a test to
put your minds at ease.

Has she missed her period? Is she is late
for her period then the only thing she can
do to tell whether she is pregnant or not
is to buy a home pregnancy test. The
symptoms of pregnancy often don't show up
until about the 5th week or pregnancy, so
what she is feeling may be too soon to be
deemed pregnancy symptoms. If she hasn't
missed her period, then it is too early to
test, so relax and wait for her period to
come ;)

Unfortunately no one can answer with a
definate answer. The only way to really
know would be to buy a hpt . You can find
them at any drugstore or gorcery store.
If you did in fact have intercourse during
her fertile time then there is a good
possibility she may be pregnant. In the
future try using protection such as
condoms and birthcontrol. Good luck.

I agree with sandralynn however, I do not
agree with stress delaying your period.
The only way her period would be delayed
is if ovulation was delayed due to
"stress" or "exessive exercise" and
"changes to diet"ovulation is directly
linked to her menstrual flow and if she is
recently being stressed then it will and
should not affect her period.

Stress and illness do commonly affect
periods.
Why? I don't think there is a definitive
answer but they most certainly do have an
affect for lots of women.
Personally mine have never been affected
but I know a lot of women who are
affected.

Kia_breizzze , yes you are correct however
it is not the period that is actually out
of whack for stress. Your luteal phase is
more consitent than the 1st portion of
your cycle which is more likely and
commonly affetced by such things as stress
. Ovualtion will differ every month but
your luteal phase is only to differ by 1
day on either side.

Hi! Yes, she could be pregnant, it could
be from stress, a bug, I am not a Dr. If
she misses her period and is not stressing
as much as stress can push back her period
also then have her take a hpt or go to the
dr and get a blood test. It is great
that you are standing by her and I do hope
you continue to do so! I would like to
drop a little hint and that is is that if
she is pregnant and you both decide you
still are not ready then you should go
over to the abortion support forum as the
females here are totally against abortion
and that is there choice and this is a
pregnancy forum anyway. I am glad that
you did realize that you were wrong and
there is nothing wrong with double
protection as even the shot is not 100%
safe, true, it does help but their is
always a possibility when having regular
sex. I hope she is not pregnant for both
of your sakes and if she is, please give
it some serious thought about what you
should do.
The best to you both!

9. Worrying about a late period may only
delay it.
This myth is often perpetuated by the most
well-meaning friends. But the reason it?S
not true is that stress does not delay
one's menstrual period; it can only delay
ovulation.
Once ovulation has occurred, the woman's
body has already determined when she will
menstruate. In other words, the time from
ovulation to menstruation varies little
from cycle to cycle.

We did have that talk about what if she
was and she started crying and I couldnt
help but shead a few tears she said that
shes not ready and that she would most
likely get an abortion but that she would
feel so bad about getting it I told her
that we have to do whats best and if we do
keep it that she knows I will be there,im
always at her house I go see her everday
=) and that if we didnt keep it to let
this be a lesson and that we should be
more serious about this kinda stuff,
ethier way im a 100% surportive of what
ever will happen its not like I dont have
a job and stuff we can take care of it but
it would be in the way im currently going
to fire academy to be a fire fighter and
that takes up a lot of time but if the
baby would come I would scarfice what ever
I need to to care for it and be there for
it. Thanks for your help guys. Mando

Ouch!!! Sandralynn, abortion is a touchy
subject! I do not agree with having an
abortion but whatever they decide it is
their choice.

Yeah , they should consider adoption or
owning up to vs. Death for something they
are clearly responsible for.
