Skin Tags Or Genital Warts Posted: 05-11-06 10:34am
My partner develop what appeared to be a
genital wart on the shaft of his penis.
He went to his pcp and he said it was a
skin tag. Both of us work in the medical
field, and it does not look like a skin
tag. It is odly shaped, with rough
edges, raised, and the coloring is similar
if not the same as his skin color. There
is no pain to the area.
Could you please help??
Also, I just had a pap and it came back
normal, would it show the hpv virus?

Honestly, I would look for a second
opinion. When I got my first bump down
there a doctor told me it was a skin tag.
A year later it had doubled in size and I
got several smaller ones. I went to a
different doctor and was positively
diagnosed with warts.
