Emergency Dr. Visit...

Hey yall, I had my baby 2 1/2 weeks ago
and this morning at 4:30 I woke up with
intense pains in my groin area. The pain
is in my right labia area close to the
crease between my leg and vagina. The
pain is a repetative shooting pain that
travels into my lower right abdomen. It
kinda feels like my pelvic or pubic bone,
but i'm not sure. I took a .Perkoset and
nothing...
I have a .Drs appt for 1:45 but I can't
make it that long...So i'm about to be on
my way. I was going to go to the
emergency room, but I had to wait for my
.Fiance to come home, then I had to get
the baby ready and I figured by the time
they saw me, my .Dr office would be
open!
I hope it's nothing serious, but this pain
is telling me that it is!! I didn't have
an epidural and that pain has
.N.O.T.H.I.N.G on what i'm feeling now.
It literally brings tears to my eyes. Her
head hanging out of me didn't hurt this
bad...
I'll keep yall updated!
Sarah

Hey yall!! Well when I went to the .Dr
yesterday he first and foremost mentioned
a kidney stone!!! Ouch!! By the time I
got there the .Perkoset had kicked in and
I wasn't in as much pain. He felt my
belly and wrote it off as maybe my uterus
was continuing to contract back down and
it was just painful.
Well this morning at like 3, I woke up
because I was having intense cramping in
my right kidney. Holy mary, I can barely
walk. Soooo, I have to call my .Dr again
and let him know this. He did mention if
the pain continued to call a
uriologist...Which i'm not to thrilled
about!!!
I'm really hoping that this is all in my
head and it's just a urinary tract
infection.(which he gave me meds for) he
also gave me more pain meds and I got my
birth control!! Yessss!!
We also had to bring .Kayoni back to her
.Dr because her .Thrush was coming back.
Soooo, not only do I have to take meds in
incriments throught the day, I have to
continue to give her her meds 4 times a
day. Funnn...I'd rather continue giving
her hers than me take mines...
She also gained 13oz in 1 week and the .Dr
totally chewed us out!! He was like
they're only supposed to gain 8oz per
week...She's doubled that...And he
reminded us that she only gets milk every
4 hours and sugar water in between. Which
we do religiously!!! She's just a
heffer!!!
I'll upload more pics from this week and
post em today!!
Thanks for the concern girls....I'm really
nervous about this mystery kidney stone
prognossis!!

You poor thing! I hear they are a health
forum to pass.... Sorry to frighten
you!
Brian sees a urologist, because he's been
letting out double the amount of calcium
in his urine since he was 3. He is now
developing a build-up along his kidney
which will probably turn into stones.
Sarah, did you know it's hereditary?

Wow,that really doesn't sound like a
uti,it sounds like a stone. My dad had one
and he let it go and let it go and it got
so bad my mom made him go to the
hospital. The doc did emergency surgery and
said if he would have waited one more day
he would have died.Sorry,i know that
probably didn't help much

Yikes!!! Haha...No one in my family has
had one...So hopefully it's just an
infection!! Lol...
I know they're a mother to pass...One of
my friends had to have shock wave therapy
to break apart a stone that was waaay to
large!!! Holy caca!!!

Kidney and gall stones are very common
after pregnancy. And as for her gaing
that much weight don't worry, my son
gained 4 lbs his first month and another
4lbs the second month! He doubled his
birth weight by 2 1/2 months. Ok so my
back kills me know cause he weighs 31lbs
and is not even 11 months yet but he's
tall to so it evens out--haha not for my
back though!! Thank god he's starting to
walk!

I'll pray that it's not kidney stones.
But I have to tell you that doctors have
been getting on my nerves lately.
They're morons.

Thanks yall...Well we had to get her more
meds cuz it started to come back...But
just after last night and today of giving
her the meds it's fading tremendously!!!
Lol .Tigres...Did you let your .Dr know
that you wanted to be checked??
I've learned throughout this pregnancy,
that you have to voice your opinion to
your .Dr. ....Just throuw it out there
next time. Say hey..I thought I would get
a cervial examination each visit...I'd
really like to know if i'm progressing.
And see what she says...She could say ok,
and grab her gloves. The worst that could
happen is her tell you no...Which I highly
doubt would happen!!
Good luck girl!!

I am soooo sorry to hear that you and that
baby are having sooo many problems! I
sure hope you get to feeling better soon!
It might be time to get a second opinion
if you do not start feeling better in a
couple of days.
My thoughts are to both you and your baby!
