So I had my doctors appointment at 10 am today and of course nothing has changed. So my doctor called the hospital and they said I could go ahead and come in to be induced today. We got to the hospital about 11:30 or so and they started pitocin around 1 pm. I was on pitocin until about 7 pm and they kept upping it, but it didn't do a thing. Nothing at all. I didn't dilate anymore. I'm still 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I was there until about 8:30 or so though, because they wanted to see if the contractions would maybe keep going without the pitocin. But no, I just ended up coming home. I am so dissapointed, I thought I was going to be able to hold my baby finally. Apparently, I just suck and the pitocin won't work so i'm just going to have to go in to labor naturally. My doctor told me to come in to her office on friday to see if anything is going on, but if not, I have no idea where we are going to go from there. I am so annoyed!

Talk about frustrating! That really sucks. But at least it will be any day now and you'll be holding your baby. Hang in there!

she stripped my membranes 2 or 3 weeks ago and yesterday before I went to the hospital. I've been having a few contractions but it's every hour or so. I am so frustrated. So I called and got an appointment for tomorrow at 9:40 am, but I don't know what she's even going to do. My granny said that mabye if I am more effaced, the pitocin will work. I almost wouldn't even want to try because if it didn't work i'd be ready to kick some. I was so pissed yesterday. I'm just so ready for this to be over already..

And nadine, yesterday was my due date. So, i'm officially overdue. Yay for me.. 40 weeks and 1 day.

Aaawww darling, I am sorry to hear that. That must be hard. Just do all the things that they say enduces labor like, sex walking, nipple stimulation, stuff like that and maybe that will help getting this going.

The only reason I was glad to go home was so I could eat some food. I hadn't eaten since about 11 pm the night before. I ate so much food when I got home..Yum!
