Whenever I bend forwards I get pressure in
my head, in addition to my face turning
red and the blood vessels in my temples
standing out.
I also get a feeling of nausea.
It doesn't just happen when I hang upside
down but happens just from leaning fowards
so my face is looking towards the ground.
It seems to happen more often when i'm
feeling faint and I also get postural
hypotension (lightheadedness when standing
up).
I'm completely worn down and exhausted
from constant anxiety and I don't get
enough sleep.
I used to feel very healthy and now I just
feel like i'm dieing.
I'm only 16, what could be the cause of
the pressure?

Hi delancey,
do you have low blood pressure? I have
that and its a common thing for me to
stand up and get dizzy. If you have
anxiety then it might be a common sympton
to feel like having a brick stuck in your
head. And feel like your head is gonna
explode :) I feel then often too.
Usally my head are clearer after
meditation or a brisk aerobic exercise.
My task nowadays is to clear up my head.
Gonna try more meditation and exercise.
...Breathing , posture etc...

Hi chuawa, I haven't actually been
diagnosed with low blood pressure, but I
do get dizzy when I stand up so the answer
is yes, I get postural hypotension and it
occurs more when i'm stressed and
anxious.
I guess that could be a cause of the
pressure due to the blood entering the
head when I bend down.
Thanks for your reply.
Does anyone else get this pressure in
their head?
I guess it's normal if you hang upside
down but it seems to occur way more easily
at the moment for me.

I'm not sure if it's the same problem, but
I got this right up until my 20's. One
symptom as a child was that if I jumped
off something high it really hurt the
soles of my feet and jarred in my head.
For me it was a lactose/whey sensitivity,
and I found that if I cut out dairy it
went away. I also slept better and had far
less depression. Dairy was the last thing
I wouldhave suspected as a culprit for it,
I'm a vegetarian and used to eat cheese
all the time without getting what I
thought was a reaction from it. Now in my
50's, if I have dairy I cough, my nose
gets a little blocked, and I start to feel
very sleepy. Do you have any other
symptoms apart from what you say above?
