Well as everyone does I have gained weight over the years and now I want to lose about 40-45 lbs I am 51 yeats old and I am 5'4. I am retired and I do get out and walk and chase the grandkids but it's just not enough. My biggest problem is my stomach area I look like I am 9 months pregnant I have had for c-sections and I was never able to get my stomach to go down. So what can I do for this is it the foods that I eat I try to eat healthy and cook my meals but no matter what I do I still have a big stomach I will lose some as I lose weight but not completely. What can I do for this. Please help!!!!!!!

I don't know if this is available in canada but believe it is in the u.S. My daughter's dr recommends it to patients for many thingsincluding weight loss, dhea (you can check it out on-line at a search engine just type in dhea) also he says take a 30 to 60 minute walk every morning between 6 & 7am (around sun up here but as it's winter there maybe 7 & 8 would be better) of course, after the c-sections, well the dr is male & the c-sections may have left scar tissue that will defeat you no matter what.

Another thing is to make a soup with carrot, tomato, onion, celery & cabbage & you can eat literally as much of this as often as you like it helps burn calories & apparnetly also to lose fluid) & as always drink plenty of water. Grilled fish, grilled (no skin) chicken, cut out bread, pasta, potatoes, butter/margarine - all the usual.
