Had a sexual contact a little over 3 1/2 months ago that gave me chlymidia. Took antibiotics for a week and went back to my doctor because I still didn't feel right. He gave me antibiotics for chlymidia and gonorhea. Took another week of antibiotics, and tests are negative.

I took an initial std test about 2 1/2 months after the contact and the only positive was for chlymidia.

I am now stressed that it may be herpes even though test results were negative the first time.

The test was the elisa 1 & 2 lgg blood test that came back negative.

Would I not have tested positive the first time after about 75 days past initial exposure to the virus?

Could it be a prostate infection? My urinary tests for a urinary tract infection were negative.
