I Don't Know What to Do!!

For the past 3 or 4 nights my baby has
been giving me trouble. She made 2 weeks
on saturday and everything before that was
cool. Now, for some reason, every time I
put her down to sleep she starts
screaming.
2 nights in a row she was extreemely
constipated so I understood, now it's just
getting old. She's not constipated, she
doesn't have gas, and she's not hungry.
She screams and as soon as I touch her,
she stops.
I knew having a baby was going to be
draining, but it was going so smoothly, I
thought I had it good. She's sleeping
right now and it wasn't hard for me to put
her down, it just I know when her daddy
gets home, he's not gonna wanna let her
go. He only gets to see her for such a
short time, he has to be outta here and at
work for 5.A.M.When my .Fiance takes care
of her on the weekends, he lets her sleep
with him and holds her the whole time
she's sleeping...But I have "main baby
duty" and it's seriously interfering with
it. I always let her fall asleep in my
arms, then put her down...Well homegirl
ain't having that.
I've been doing some reasearch and it says
that babies at such a young age can't put
together, logically, crying and me picking
her up. I normally let her cry it out,
but many people don't agree with that with
a baby who is so young.
Has anyone else experienced this with a
newborn???

I believe that some babies are over
stimulated and become irritable. And
sleeping with the baby continuously is a
no no because she will get used ot it and
when its time for her to sleep alone thus
the result are screaming!...Try to talk to
your fiance about over doing it with the
babe. I know it's hard especially when
its your sweet baby but you have to
control certain things to avoid havoc!
Good luck

I went through the same thing cam was
almost the perfect baby he woke up 3 times
a night but that was nothing anyways I
couldnt get him to sleep on back or his
side so I caved in cause I was so
exhausted and I have a 20 month old so I
put him on my stomach and fell asleep with
him there.
I went through that for about two weeks
now he sleeps only in a playpen wont sleep
in a bssinet or crib lol so anything that
is safe for him and he will sleep in
right..
Btw anyone who has one just becareful of
their heads getting flat!! Change them
from side to side at night
for constipation take athermoemter put a
bit of vaseline on the tip and stick it in
like you for their temp it stimulates them
sometimes and they go!!

Btw sarah I see nothing with letting a
baby cry just not all the time if all her
need were met then let her cry it out they
do cry for attention at 5 weeks my son
would scream and once you went to him he
would smile talk about full of caca lol

I agree with that ^ but it must be
horribly hard to see your baby crying.

Just remember with boys if the crying
procedes for to long it can lead to a
hernia I used to leave mine crying just
check on them every 15 minutes.

Trey slept with us from 0-3 1/2 months.
It was the only way I could get some
rest.. Actually i'm lying...From about
2-3 months he slept only in his swing, it
was the only way we could get him to
sleep. Ionly strted him in his crib
around 4 months and now I put him to bed
with a bottle to sleep. I know "they"
say not to but I need my bloody sleep too
and you and daddy have to make her sleep
the same way or she's gonna be confused.
And not to be rude, but i'd never let my 2
week old cry it out. But that is just
me. Be thankfull daddy is around to help
on weekends so you can rest. I've just
become a single mom and just went back to
work and things are gonna be hard as
hell!!!

me neither! In fact, I wouldn't let a
baby cio until about 9 months.

I understand the not letting her cry it
out, but if I let her cry for about 5
mins. She stops. Of course she'll start
again in the next 10 mins...But I know
she'll stop.
It is horrible to hear my baby cry...But I
know that all of her needs are met and
she's crying for attention. That's fine
at 2pm but when it's 2 am and you've only
gotten a couple hours of sleep, it's brain
wrenching!! Lol...I love my baby with all
of my heart...It just makes me mad that
now, all of a sudden, she's got arm-itis.
I know that they say a baby that young
doesn't put crying and being held
together, it just seems to me like that's
exactly what her problem is.
I told her daddy to stop sleeping with her
(even though it's easier and it allows for
intense bonding) but it makes it harder
for me when it's my turn and I look like
the bad guy for wanting her to relate
sleep with her bed.

You have to make it very clear to daddy
that you need to be on the same page when
it comes to her or the poop will hit the
fan as I recently found out-lol I just
now started to let trey cry it out and not
all the time either, when he starts choking
I go in. :-p
and yes emma, it is very recent. Well
i've felt like a single mom almost all 10
months trey has been alive but now I think
it's official! Yay!! Lol
