Constant Pressure In My Head
Posted: 05-10-06 01:28am

I've been having constant pressure in my head for almost two years straight, now. Sometimes it goes away for very short periods of time (like after a meal), only to come back a hundred times worse 20-30 minutes later. But I usually have it every minute of every day, and it is very, very annoying. I can't concentrate.

I've always thought this was due to some strange health abnormality. I'm only 24 years old.

Only recently, after reading some information on sinus pressure, have I considered strongly that this pressure in my head could be directly related to sinus inflammation/cloggage.

I don't have heavy congestion (only when it rains), and can usually breathe 100% through the nostrils. So it's not like I was able to make the link between congestion and sinus pressure. This pressure just "appeared" one day, and has never gone away since.

Email me or reply here with your advice.

Are there any "tests" one can try, or good/safe medications to use.. To check to see whether my head pressure is due to sinus problems, or not?

I can say that I do often get blurred/cloudy vision, and i've heard this is also a symptom of sinus pressure. I'm also very fatigued/tired at times, I can't concentrate, and the pressure never goes away.

I live with this every day, and it's about time I consider whether sinus problems are the main factor here.

What do you folks think? I originally thought this was due to blocked off/constricted blood vessels in my brain, or impeded blood flow (increased intracranial pressure), but since I can't prove that, perhaps maybe my problem is due to sinus pressure?

Reply asap, and i'll try whatever you folks think I should!

Help needed--this is too annoying, and i've had it for 2 years!!!

Hey, trust me I know what you're going through. I feel that you have a problem that is something very similar to mine.

Look up mercury or amalgam toxicity, you have all the symptoms, even if you dont have mercury fillings you can still be toxic by metals.

yea, i have similar symptoms. my headaches worsen when i make sudden movements with my head. i can pin point exactly where i feel the pressure. on the left side on the top. my vision does get foggy. and sometimes everything seems dark. i dont know exactly what to make of this but i hope everything is ok . im only 16 and ive been having these head aches for about a year. i wake up every day either having a head ache or expecting one latter. its really starting to bother me i feel like i want to smack my head on things its soooooo annoying. my life sucks. but im going to have to try to get use to it. advil works sometimes and dosnt others. and rarly, i feel like everything is unreal, like im trapped inside and everything is like a dream or a cartoon. i have barces, hyperglicimia (i know i didnt spell that correctly) neck tension, bad vision, maybe causes of my headaches but not sure. i know its not my vision that is causing it because i still get them when i ware my glasses. if theirs any answers out their please tell me.
