Okay heres the deal, and i'll explain it to you...

Each woman has a different cycle..Some women have 28 day cycles, some women have 29 day, some could even have 22 day cycles.

People who do not use birth control and want to rely on "ovulation" to know when not to have sex will try and figure out which days are "safe"

you count day one as the day you .S.T.A.R.T. Your period, not when it ends!
So 5 days after your period stops is day 12, but if you ovulate on day 14 sperm can live inside you and still fertilize an egg.

The only way to know for sure which days are safe or not are to know exactly when you ovulate and not have sex around that time. But since every woman is different, and you are too, than noone can know if you are safe or not. It is safe to assume that if you do not know when you ovulate that you could get pregnant anytime...It's not worth the risk.
