Hi, i'm new to the site and I was just
viewing all the wonderful insight you

I am glad that you feel that this site is
a supportive and insightful place to come
with your concerns.
Yes it is possible to have a period while
pregnant. As far as the rest of your
question is concerned I will refer you to
the sticky very near the top of the page.
It is entitled "before you post...Am I
pregnant". Please read it and then decide
what you should do. It was posted to
help everyone who comes here wanting to
know whether or not the symptoms that they
are displaying could possibly be
pregnancy.

You should wait until you have missed your
period to take an hpt. I understand that
testing while you are bleeding will not
give you an accurate result, though, so it
wouldn't do you much good now.

The proper wording when your actually
preganant and start to bleed is either
"implantion bleeding" or just "bleeding"
or "spotting". You cannot have a period
because that would mean you ovulated and
are shedding your lining which both in
pregnancy does not happen.
