I have an appointment for wednesday, and the woman told me that its is gonna last three hours, is this normal, or is it because I am hi risk?

My first appointment (the one where they just take your history and give you info and answer questions) took probably 15 minutes. My first appointment which involved an internal exam took like 20-30 minutes. 3 hours seems ridiculously long. What will they be doing for 3 hours?
