Bad breath can often be the first sign of a disease. But how do doctors define bad breath and what are the major causes of bad breath?...

Q: Whitening Dental Implants?

I had dental implants put in about 4 years ago. I was young enough then to not think anything about having my teeth whitened later on, and my dentist didn't give my any options. Now, I want to know if it is possible to whiten the color of my implants (bonding maybe?) without having to get new implants.
Any input you have is great.

Pamela, if you dont mind me asking. I have to get an implant put in..Why did u have your implant put in and which tooth? And how old are you?

I feel I am too young for this and now I recently found out that the tooth the crook dentist pulled could have been saved..Crying myself silly for the past 2 months.

Bonding, I Wouldn't Do It
I dont know if its an answer for you, but before you do bonding check it out reall good. My sister and a friend at work both had teeth bonded and yeah looked great for awhile. Then they yellow and they are non smokers or coffee drinkers. Now they are stuck with the yellow teeth as nothing can be done to correct it except the expensive removal and reapply.

Becareful there

My friend did something called laminating. I should find out if its the same as bonding. Her teeth are as white as can be and this was 6 years ago..I can recommend her dentist if u need one. Thats where I am going.

And by the way, she had them done in her front teeth, she fell and cracked them in a upside v shape and I swear you'd never know.

Christina-
i was born without the two teeth on either side of my two front teeth. So I had braces to pull everything back into place and then a retainer...Then more braces, and then finally my cool titanium implants.....
Laminating sounds really interesting...That's something that I haven't heard of before. Oh, and i'm 21
