Ok,
hunterjumper
and
Bridget,
Actually at 8 weeks there is much more to a miscarriage than just blood and blood clots. I had a miscarriage in May and I was 8 weeks pregnant, yes it was alot of blood and clots but then the pain got much more intense and this really small oblong thing came out. It looked kinda like...chicken skin covered in blood. The doctor informed me it was the baby and then he did a pelvice exam and removed the placenta.
Now, at 6 weeks a doctor can pic up then embryotic sac on an ultrasound but can't see a heartbeat or any movement. Unless they do a vaginal ultrasound.
