My husband had surgery three years ago to remove a tumor in his spinal cord. He has had severe pain in legs and feet and muscle spasms that keep him awake at night. He recently received a neurotransmitter implant in his lower back that helps greatly with the pain, but he is plagued with muscle spasms in his legs and feet. He takes 3200 mg of neurontin daily, plus cymbalta. Can anyone help with suggestions of other medications. He tried lyrica and it didn't help.

Maybe he could try requipt (sp) the restless leg medicine. Also, he should be going to a pain management doctor who can treat with a full schedule of medicines that together can help him to get better.
