Hello, i'm 26 and became sexually active recently. I'm missed my period and am worried I am pregnant. My fiance and I had unprotected intercourse and our contraceptive method is by withdrawal.

I used to have very irregular periods where I could have 2 times a month. My last period was 4-8 july. We had sex on 11, 12, 19, 25, 27 and 2 aug. My next period supposedly on 7 aug (30 days) but it didn't come and i'm extremely worried. I did have some brown spotting on 31 - 2 aug but it stopped.

I did a home pregnancy test on 11 aug (clear blue) and it came out as negative. I've also been monitoring my body for any changes and I don't feel i'm pregnant. But i've to be sure and confirm. For having a baby is not in our plan now.

Can anybody enlighten me about ... What is going on with my body? How can I missed my period? How accurate and reliable the home pregnancy kit. If I get myself tested by the doctor, what kind of method they're using to confirm if i'm pregnant or not. What is the best contraceptive method to use. We used condoms before but it always torn in the process. Please help.
