Ughhh That Doctor!!!

I went in to my reg doctor to get a referal for an ob-gyn and all he said was ok you are 10 weeks pregnant and here is there referral, I asked him if he could let me hear the baby's heart beat and he said it couldn't be heared yet that it was way too early, not true it isnt but he still tried, ok this is his way of trying he put that thing barely touching my stomach and maybe if he actually put it touching my stomach I would have been able to hear my lil angels heart beat!! It was so dissapointing I was so excited!! I have another appointment next monday with the actual mid-wife and maybe then I will be able to hear it!!!

10 weeks may be too early, but I swear that they heard my baby's at about 10 weeks... Ever consider switching doctors? This one sounds like he just can't be bothered to do his job. Take care, and goodluck!

I was 11 weeks when I went for my first appointment and my nurse couldn't hear the heartbeat, so she sent me for an u/s. She said nothing to worry about, because it's usually between 10-12 weeks that the heartbeat is first detected, but not to be surprised if it takes longer than that. The u/s looked great and we got to hear a little bit of the heartbeat. Good luck!
