How is everybody been going...

Just a question, after my partner and I have sex, I seem to get a bit of pain in my lower stomach. Does anyone know why this happens?

Thank you

Me Too.
Hi,

i thought it was only me, but I too get a pain in my lower stomach, a dull pain.

I don't know what it means but I know that when the penetration is deeper thats when I get the pain, so we have been trying to try different positions to stop this happening. I think maybe though, I should see a doctor as I don't believe this is normal, sex should not be painful and if it is maybe our bodies are telling us that something is wrong.

Yeah or it could be a uti bladder/kidney infection as well or possibly a ovarian cyst. Thats what I had and it ruptured so be careful and go get checked by the doctor if its not an infection get checked to see if you have a cyst.

I get a gentle, dull pain in my stomach after sex, too, and i'm totally infection and std free. It fades after about an hour. I've always considered it to be normal. It's probably a result of the penis touching the cervix and aggravating it a bit. As long as it's bearable and not causing you considerable discomfort, it shouldn't be cause for concern. If however it is, you should maybe stick to positions that don't cause this to happen. Or bring it up next time you're at the doctors.

Re: Pain After Sex
If you have already been to the doctor and have been diagnosed with a clean bill of health, you might want to find out if you have a form of vulvodynia. Many women who have vulvodynia speak about pain inside -way up. Vulvodynia is a very broad term. It can be confusing and disheartening to learn you have this condition but there is so much more help and information out there now than when I was diagnosed 7 years ago. I run a site called vulvodyniasupport.Com you can find a lot of information and also meet up with other women who have vv by making a post on the free exchange. I have support group listings, literally all over the world. The site is completely free and although there are doctor listings they are not paid listings, only patients can recommend a doctor and I put them through a screening process as well. I hope this help you. Wishing you pain-free days, lauren

When you have your period the lining inside your uterus is called endometrium.. This is what sheds with af!!!! Endometriosis is when the endometrium lines the outside and places it shouldn't be... There is no way for it to shed from your body! I had a laproscopy done 3 weeks ago and they can remove it thta way but it never goes away!
