I am 5 weeks pregnant, and I am
terminating my pregnancy with the early
option pill. Ever since I missed my
period a month ago I have been very
bloated, all over, and my breasts are sore
of course. But can anyone please tell me
if this retention will pass in a couple of
weeks after the termination, when the
hormones are back to normal? I am feeling
uncomfortable and bloated.
Please help with your experiences or
knowledge - and try not to be judgemental
when answering to my email. Focus on my
question, and not on your opinions.
Thank you
also -- where can I report abuse on the
forums?
Earlier I posted my email in the pregnancy
forum by mistake, and the reaction of some
along with their **cursing** is totally
unacceptable. I understand it is due to
ignorance and immaturity. But curse words
are not acceptable in these forums - I
thought we accept that agreement right
from the beginning.

Hi... Yes your bloating will be gone soon
after the abortion.I also work in an
abortion clinic.
I have has 3, all due to birth control
failure, I have had an iud for over 2
years in total.
I did do the "pill" abortion, and I
prefer surgical because it is painless
thanks to anesthesia, and over with 'now'.
I like the surgical because it feels more
controlled.. But it is certianly safe and
effective.
With the aboriton by pill it is inducing
a miscarriage.You will bleed quite
heavily, almost gushy for up to 8 hours or
so. You will have some intense cramping,
but it will subside once you pass all the
pregnancy blood.
They will also give you pain killers to
take while the termination is taking
place. I reccommend heating pad,
chocolate/or good candy, coca cola or your
fav beverage, a good movie, and relax.
Because you already have a baby or child I
am sure it will be easier on you, your
cervix has opened before, unlike mine. It
should be a better experience than mine
due to your circumstances of already
having a child. =) no judgement here from
me, I truly care about women =)

I had an abortion when I was 5 weeks.
Though, I took the pill and had the
procedure done as well. When I took the
pill there was a lot of cramping. The
cramping was because the cervix was
relaxing to miscarry. Like with any
procedure of that sort there is going to
be pain, bleeding and a recovery time.
Make sure you go into this knowing
everything you need to know. Bring every
single question you have unanswered in
with you. Make that doctor answer all
your questions, and if they don't give any
answer you don't like, then there's doubt.
If that doubt's there, don't do it.
Personal experiance, make sure you feel
comfortable about your decision.

It is important to make sure you are okay
with your abortion
if you have an abortion while you are
alseep or with iv sedation there would be
no pain at all..
I had the "good drugs" so I never felt any
pain during, and after I never felt a
thing. It does depend on the person of
course.
