Optic Neurotis In Pregnacy With a Maybe Multiple Sclorisis Posted: 05-04-06 17:33pm
Hi,
i was wondering if someone would be able
to help with answering some of my
concerns, over a year ago I was diagnosed
with a bad case of optic neurotis that
left me blind for a good month, I just had
my check up with my eye physician he told
me that my vison is going to be the best
it will be and that my optic nerve shows
signs of damage, talked about ms
treatments and order another mri with
contrast a few months after the baby is
born, the pain and vison disturbances
never went away and he told me I would
just have to deal with it. In about 6
weeks im due to have my baby and the
concern is will having a past history of
optic neurotis cause problems in labor and
delivery, I expressed to my doctor my
concerns of having another attack and he
said he would look into cases of optic
neurotis, ms during delivery seeing if it
would be best to have a ceaseran, im
really scared because for over the last
year my life has been hell from my eyes to
the crazy stuff my body has been doing,
and since I have become pregnant some of
the stuff has lighten up a bit, but
getting closer to my due date stuff has
been acting up again.
Any body that has gone through pregnacy
and labor with optic neuritis please let
me know your experiences and what I may
expect to happen. Im trying to plan all
my options before hand trying to avoid
another attack
thanks
