nausea/ vomiting
Unlike most of the replies here, I don't have a fear of vomiting but it comes in bouts of a couple of days to a week for no particular reason and I do bring back food and liquid. A few days ago I got a water infection and was given some antibiotics but the vomiting started even before I took my first pill. Today I had a yogurt for breakfast and that came back up and even a cup of tea or glass of water comes back up.Yesterday it happened twice out of three meals but i can see no connection in what I eat. Strangley it's not the type of projectile vomiting you have as a child. I get a heavy feeling in my stomach and I can taste it in my throat. I can walk calmly to the bathroom, and as I stand over the loo, bending slightly, the food gushes out of my mouth. This continues 4 -5 times until the next meal time. I had thought it was IBS related but after reading the posts I'm not too sure now. Any ideas? I've not sought medical advice for this as there can be gaps of 5 - 6 months between episodes.

I am with friends!
I have had stomach/lower intestine problems since I was a little kid, and the nausea after eating perfectly healthy food drives me nuts. If you have to a meeting, date etc. i sometimes just eat a salad with a little vinaigrette, or a banana or two...for me these are both generally inoffensive. I have noticed if I wait too long before eating this can make the nausea more likely to happen/worse. As far as being afraid of puking, I have no fear! It actually in my case seems to be a necessity... I can't seem to shake the nausea without puking. Alas, the best nausea cure for me (obviously depending on the situation) is a little joint of medical cannabis. (It is not as hard to get a prescription as one would think).
